Marguerite “March” S. Dufrene, 97, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
Visitation will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Paradis, on Wednesday, January 19th from 9 am until service time. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 am with burial to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands.
March is survived by her sons, Curtis P. Dufrene (Linda), Dwight D. Dufrene; daughter, Juanita Luquette Hebert (Eddie); 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel E. Dufrene; parents, Edward and Elizabeth C. Schaubhut; brothers, Mickey, Eddie and Tony Schaubhut; sisters, Joyce S. Donnaud, Deane Folse and Iris Lunk; grandchildren, Corey Dufrene, Cory Dufrene and great grandchild, Cole Dufrene.
In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
