John G. Mansoor, a longtime resident of Minden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 12 at his home in Luling surrounded by his family.
John leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Carol Mansoor; his son, John V. Mansoor and his wife, Karina and his daughter, Valerie Mansoor Hymel and her husband, David. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Katie, Kaela, Claire and Joshua who affectionately called him “Papa” as well as his brothers: Anthony Mansoor, Nicolas Mansoor, Lufti Mansoor, Jr. and Richard Mansoor. He is predeceased by a brother, Victor Mansoor.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, Aug. 16 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 234 Angus Ln. in Luling. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to St. Anthony of Padua Church.
