On Jan. 31 Patrick John Macloud, 54, went home to be with his God and his Mother Rose. His father Willie, wife Bonnie, children Connor and Keely, and sister-in-law Gail will miss him terribly but will continue to live their lives to the fullest as was his desire.
Macloud was a beloved son, father, husband and friend. His children found him annoyingly wise, leaned, and a wonderful role model. He was honest, fun-loving, quick-witted, and truly understanding, considerate and accepting of others.
His passionate desire for life was apparent in his determination to overcome the obstacles he faced. He spent the latter part of his life in service to God through ministry to others.
The memorial service will be held at Christ Episcopal Church in Slidell on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. with a celebration of Pat’s life to follow. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Hospice of St. Tammany, St. Tammany Parish Hospital, 1202 S. Tyler Street, Covington, LA 70433.
