Collins Joseph Lemieux

Collins Joseph Lemieux, 74, a retired foreman at Jefferson Parish Drainage and Sewage, entered into eternal rest at Jo Ellen Smith Living Center on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 12:30 a.m.

Husband of the late Gloria Robinson Lemieux. Devoted father of Arlene Lemieux (Ray) Holmes, Alan Joseph (the late Joan Marie) Lemieux, Sr., Carl (Mary) Lemieux, Desiree Lemieux, Rachel Lemieux (Paul) Alexander and Adrienne Lemieux. Son of the late Herbet Lemieux and Elizabeth Boudreaux. Stepson of the late Hattie Lemieux. Brother of Sherman Lemieux and the late Raymond and Norman Lemieux and Mazie Robinson. Brother-in-law of Mercede Lemieux, Jeanne Pugh, Valerie Butler, Johnny Robinson of Marrero, Lionel Robinson of New Orleans. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A resident of Boutte. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and pastors, officer, and members of all neighboring churches; employees of Children’s Hospital, Sain Freight Line, Whole Foods Market, Jefferson Financial Credit Union, Renta Center, and Jefferson Parish Drainage and Sewerage were invited to attend the mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. Rev.
