Larry Matthew DeRoche Sr., 85, a resident of Luling, passed away on Dec. 30, 2018. He was born Sept. 21, 1933.
Visitation was Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Thursday with burial to follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, LA.
He is survived by his sons, Glenn DeRoche (Cathe) and Larry Deroche, Jr. (Melanie); grandchildren, Laura Cook (Jeff), Daniel, Christopher DeRoche (Annie), Lizzie Daigle (Fredi) and Angelle DeRoche; great grandchildren, Layne, Sydney, Andi, Alec, Claire, Cohen, Julie, Baylen and Allison.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Simoneaux DeRoche; parents, Waldo and Elvire Madere DeRoche and siblings, Aline Hebert (Olida), Clara Duebler (Eddie), Ethel Zimmerman (Slim), Grace Shifflet (Edward), Hazel Dufrene (Carol), Hope Guidry (K.U.), Joseph DeRoche (Hazel), Lawrence DeRoche (Grace) and Thelma Michot (Uray).
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
