Burk “Cowboy” LaRousse, 60, a native and resident of Bayou Gauche, passed away on Monday, Oct. 6.
He is survived by his mother, Kathy Dunn Folse and father, Vanton LaRousse, Sr.; sons, Terrance Cooper and Louis LaRousse; brothers, Vanton LaRousse, Jr. (Laura) and Jason LaRousse (Fara); sisters, Nellie Dempster (late Adlis), Dianne Crochet (Roy), Janet LaRousse (Travis) and Anita LaRousse and bunches of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Donald LaRousse.Visitation was held at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland on Thursday, Oct. 9, followed by a service at the funeral home. Burial followed in Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche.
Falgout Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
