Wilma Leonard Hymel, 88, beloved wife of the late Louis Felix Hymel, passed away on Aug. 6.
Daughter of the late Dorceno and Zowe Bolotte Leonard, she was a White Castle native and St. Charles Parish resident for 62 years.
She was preceded in death by all of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Ann Marie, and her husband, Ernest Youngs; granddaughter, Sheila Marie and husband John Porada; great-granddaughter, Corinne Marie Porada; devoted friends, Tammy and Jay brasher; sister-in-law, Ruby C. Leonard; and nieces and nephews.
Hymel enjoyed time she spent with friends at St. Charles Parish Council on Aging Senior citizens Center.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the kindness and friendship of everyone there, with special thanks to Ed Rubin for being such a good friend and always looking after her.
