Hazel Marie Falgout LeBlanc, age 87, died peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2006 at Canon Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years “Hyp” LeBlanc; parents, Nelson Falgout and Alfreda Walker Falgout; sister and brother-in-law, Edna and Cyril Bernard; sister-in-law, Patricia Falgout; and greatgrandson, baby Gabriel Michael Brens. She is survived by sona nd daughter-in-law, Dr. Hal A. and Ann Whittaker LeBlanc; brother, Nelson J. Falgout; grandchildren: Beth and Michael Freitas, Becky and Steven Brens, Halle LeBlanc and fiance’ Jason Lowery, Hal “Beau” LeBlanc Jr. and Melissa LeBlanc; great grandchildren, Kristen, Lorrie, Victoria, Madelyn, Breland and Micah. She was a member of the Norco Homemakers Club, a charter member and several times “Woman of the Year” of the Bonnet Carre Garden Club.
She loved her family, gardening, painting, and fishing. She and Hyp are together again. Special thanks to her family and her caregivers: Angela Anderson, Beth Drake, Marion Frances, Marilyn Kelson, Ruby Pinedo, Rosie Bondack, Norco Adult Care Center and Canon Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial was at 11:00 am Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church . Entombment was at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimers Disease Research, 22512 Gateway Center Dr., P.O Box 1950, Clarksburg, MO 20871-1950 or Canon Hospice. HC Alexander Funeral Home of Norco in charge of arrangements.
