Stanley Joseph Guidry, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010.
He was the beloved husband of Lois Graci Guidry and the late Leona Fabre Guidry. He was a native of St. Charles Parish and he was a resident of LaPlace for 33 years. He is survived by his children: Wayne Guidry, Kenneth Guidry, Ruth G. Ballam, Patricia Guidry and Michael Guidry; three siblings: Noah Guidry Jr., Arnold Guidry and Jeannie Palmer; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah and Jeanne Guidry, as well as by three siblings: Roy Guidry, Alice Buford, and Lorraine Glover; two grandsons, William “David” Spencer and Billy Arnold, and one great-granddaughter, Erica Ledger.
A Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Destrehan. Visitation began at 9 a.m. at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. in Norco.
