Joyce Champagne Gendron, 84, passed away on Dec. 25, 2010 in Vacherie.
She was the beloved wife of the late Floyd Gendron, mother of Keith Gendron, Cheryl Cazenave (husband Jim), Rhonda Breaux (husband Emile) and the late Dale Anthony Gendron, Kirk James Gendron and Cheryl Ann Gendron; daughter of the late Walter and Marie G. Champagne, sister of Gerald Champagne, Carol Ann Sanchez and the late Billy, Charles, Roland and Pete Champagne and Mildred Besson; grandmother of six and great-grandmother of five. She was a native of Hahnville and resident of Vacherie and a member of Wooodmen of the World.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Dec. 29 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie with interment at St. John Cemetery in Edgard. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
