Sidney F. Gassen, Sr. born January 10, 1918 in Luling, LA, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the age of 89.
He was the beloved husband of the late Aline Gassen. Beloved father of the late Sidney F. Gassen, Jr. (husband of Delores Gassen). Grandfather of Sidney F. Gassen,III, Chris Gassen, Curtis Gassen, Ross Gassen and Brandon Gassen.
He was survived by seven great grandchildren. and one great great grandchild. Sidney was a lifetime residence of Luling, LA. He was retired restaurant owner of the “Goodie Booth” on River Road in Luling. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters and his family and friends whose lives he touched.
He will be forever remembered for his good humor and endless jokes. The memorial will be at a later date at the St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, LA.
