Bonny Gros Friloux, also known as “Bonny Baby Dieu,” went to be with her Lord and Savior on Jan. 12.
A native and resident of Paradis, Friloux is survived by her life partner Chris Robert; son, Eric Robert (Katarina), and 4-month-old granddaughter, Scarlet Faye Robert.
Friloux was the baby sister of Glenn F. Gros (Brenda), Linda G. Mouchon (Johnny), Dale P. Gros (Karen), Dina G. Stelly (Jerry) and Lori G. Spansel (Dave). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Louella Gros; grandparents, Edmond (Red) and Josephine Gros, Phillys and Edith Dufrene and sister, Faye M. Gros.
A mass of Christian burial was held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands with burial at Luling Mausoleum on Jan. 20.
