Florence “Flo” Elizabeth Haley Ardoin

Florence “Flo” Elizabeth Haley Ardoin, 71, left this earth to join the heavens on Feb. 11 in Victoria, Texas.

Flo was born in New Orleans on May 7, 1948 and she grew up in Luling where she was the first of nine children. After high school she attended Nicholl’s State University where she received her Associate’s Degree. She worked at a number of places throughout her career like Handy Dan, Carter and Burgess, Jacob’s Engineering, and Arborleaf Engineering. Flo loved to fish, she loved gardening and she loved people. Her true passion was her family.

Flo is survived by her husband Michael “Mickey” Ardoin, and her son Gregg Blanchard and his wife, Angela Blanchar; mother Marie LaCour Haley; step-daughter Lori Stanton and husband Joey Stanton, Gina Ardoin, and step-son Jacques Ardoin and wife Ally Ardoin; grandsons: Blake Eberhardt, Cody Eberhardt and wife Arista, Grayden Blanchard and Allen “AJ” Blanchard; granddaughters Julia Stanton and Camille Stanton; great grandson: Peyton Eberhardt; sisters Margaret Seghers, Del Krementz and Susan Haley; brothers- Walt Haley and his wife, Carolyn Haley, Alvin Haley and his wife, Cele, Henry Haley and his wife, Messa, Michael Haley and his wife Mari, and John Haley; and father of Gregg and Keri – Tony Blanchard and his wife Kay. She is also survived by many cousins, nephews, nieces, “sistas” and many friends.

Preceded in death by daughter Keri Blanchard Guillory, father Elbert Haley and husband Wendell “Jay” Fruge.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Wounded Warrior Project.
