Ethel P. DeSoto passed away November 28, 2019 at the age of 85. She is reunited in heaven with her loving husband, R. D. DeSoto. Loving mother of James DeSoto (Gena), Susan Hodge (Keith), Dwayne DeSoto (Melissa) and the late Judy Ann DeSoto. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Eric, Blake, Julie, Jaí, Chelsey, and Dawn, as well as 17 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, five sisters, and her parents, Clarence Prestenbach, Sr., and Louise Clement Prestenbach.
Ethel was a dedicated catholic, she loved to sew, work on puzzles, play bingo and dance. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Mark Catholic Church in Ama, LA on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 beginning at 9:15AM.
