Sherry Ann Benoit Dufrene, 60, a native and residents of Paradis, passed away on, June 15.
Visitation as held June 20 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands followed by a Christian burial in the church cemetery.
Dufrene is survived by her husband, Derril Leo Dufrene; daughters, Tanya Dufrene Danos (Matt A. Danos) and Heather Dufrene Diecedue (Alvin L Diecedue); mother, Dorothy Boyer Benoit; brother, Richard Henry Benoit Jr.; sister, Terry Lee Benoit Robert (Kelvin); grandchildren, Michael A. Danos, Alvin L. Diecedue, Aubrie M. Diecedue; nieces, Jessica S. Cortez, Brittany Lee Beck, Mckenze and Courtney Crockett; nephew, Justin Benoit; mother-in-law, Anna Hymel Dufrene; brothers-in-law, Lenny Dufrene, Joey Dufrene, Mark Englade; sisters-in-law, Denise Dufrene, Valarie Englade; godparents, O.J. and Opal Legendre and also 11 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Henry Benoit Sr.; father-in-law, Leo J. Dufrene; brother-in-law, Edward Dufrene.
