Edmond ‘White’ Comardelle

Edmond ‘White’ Comardelle passed away on Monday, March 17, 2008 at age 74.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman who lived his whole life along the bayou he loved, both at Comardelle Village and Bayou Gauche. He is survived by his wife, Edith M. Comardelle, his daughter, Patty Riley, son-in-law, James Riley, M.D., two granddaughters, Amber Guillot and Laural Bowers, three great grandchildren, Nicholas Guillot, Dylan Guillot and John Bowers IV. He is also survived by sisters, Enola Simon and Leona Dufrene and a brother, Jimmie  Comardelle. Preceded in death by parents Antoine and Elvira A. Comardelle and brother Jessie Comardelle.

In addition, he has a multitude of friends and relatives who consider him as a second father. Visitation was at Falgout Funeral Homes, 3838 Highway 1, Raceland. Burial followed at Sunset Cemetery, Bayou Gauche.
