Charles W. Campbell

Charles W. Campbell, 79, of Stephens, Arkansas, formerly of Luling, LA. died Monday, January 16, 2006.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Camden, Arkansas. Mr. Campbell was retired from Union Carbide at Taft, Louisiana and was the owner of the Huddle House Restaurant in Luling.

He was a former member of the St. Charles Parish Rotary Club and was an Air Force Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles H and Mabel Lockridge Campbell, sister, Juanita Poindexter, of Stephens, and brother, Travis Campbell, of Houston. He is survived by his wife Melissa Campbell of Stephens, daughters, Susan Humphries of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Charlotte Anne Hinkle of Hammond, LA.; stepson, Ronnie Ritter, Jr. of Coral Springs, FL, and stepdaughters, Kathy Ritter of Lawton, OK, and Laureen Kastanos of Elk Grove, CA.; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his former wife, Nita Sue Johanningmeier of McComb, MS. A memorial service will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Camden, AR on February 4 at 11 AM; in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to that church.
