George A. Catoire, Sr., a native of Reserve, LA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 27 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his son, George Catoire Jr. and wife Cytina; daughters, Vanessa Albritton, Cassandra Kolesa and husband Tim, Debra Leleaux, Cheryl Eslick and husband Dennis; grandchildren, Patrick, Nathan, Michael Albritton, Rebecca Allen, Stephen and Jason Coffey, Jana Istre; great grandchildren, Michaela, Rylan, Rayleigh, Jolie, Adrik, Jason, Jr., Bethany, Cannan, Daphne, Waylon, Dracen and Samantha and brother, Wilfred “Skinny” Catoire.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret F. Catoire; parents, Leo Catoire, Sr. and Gladys M. Catoire; grandson, Johnathan; great grandson, Daniel Coffey; brothers, Leo Catoire, Jr., Bruce Catoire; sisters, Priscilla Richard and Diana Trosclair.
