Edith Keller Bergeron died on March 13, 2008 at 9:25 p.m. at Ormond Nursing and Care Center, Destrehan, LA. Age 98.
Born February 28, 1910 in Montz, LA and a resident of Norco for the past 66 years. Wife of the late Clarence L. Bergeron; daughter of the late Mary Barrios and Flavin J. Keller. Mother of Warren F. (Marilyn Bergeron), Sandra B. Almerico and Deanna B. Weber. Grandmother of Warren, Jr. (Jennifer) Bergeron, David (Lisa) Bergeron and Randall (Tracey) Bergeron; Celeste B. (Keith) Donaldson, Joelle B. (Roger) Aiple; Mark (Judi) Almerico, Michael (Shannon) Almerico, Josann A. Valley, Karin Almerico, Mary Beth Almerico, Stephen (Becky) Weber, Alison W. (Danny) Steib, Gigi W. (Stephen) Johnson, Jami W. (Scotty) Long, Michelle W. (Kevin) Curlee, and a Special Maw-Maw to Timmy (Kim) Rebowe; 37 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her brothers, Dewey, Sidney and Eddie Keller; sisters Claire K. Cambre and Cecile K. Lorio; and great grandson Warren F. Bergeron, III. Honorary Pallbearers: Stan Weber, Jr. and Henry “Buster” Smith, Jr. Visitation was at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 from 9 a.m. until time of Religious Services at 11 a.m. Interment: St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
