Louise “Mama Lou” Bearden, 72, a native of Jeanerette and resident of Des Allmands, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11
Visitation was held on Sunday night, Feb. 15 at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Marrero. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated the following day at Holy Family Catholic Church with interment set for a later date at St. Charles Mausoleum.
She is survived by her sons, Armond Joseph Bourque Sr., Eldridge Bourque Jr,; daughters, Christine Bodin, brothers, Whitney “Sonny” Guidry Jr., and Paul Joseph Guidry Sr.; daughter-in-law, Nancy Carlton Bourque; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Whitney and Emily Guidry; sisters, Norma Broussard, Claire Guidry Darby and Jeanette Guidry.
