Charleston James Badeaux

Charleston James Badeaux passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 10:40 a.m. at St. Charles Parish Hospital, Luling. Age 50. A native of lifelong resident of Destrehan. He was a Deckhand with Gnots Fleet and of the Catholic faith. Son of MaryBelle Badeaux of Destrehan.

Father of Hope Marie Badeaux of Mansura,  Brother of Ralph Badeaux of Destrehan, Jeffrey (wife, Josie) Badeaux of St. Rose,  Lolan (wife, Maria) Badeaux of Destrehan,  and Lori (husband, Chris) Duplessis of Montz.

Grandfather of Dwayne, Hailey, Cash and Austin. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Loland J. Badeaux, Jr. A member of St. Charles Borromeo Choir and former groundskeeper at the St. Charles Cemetery. Loved nature and camping. A history buff on the Mississippi River. Visitation Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan from 9:00 a.m. until time of Religious Services at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Fr. Monsignor Harry Bugler.

Interment St. Charles Cemetery, Destrehan.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Norco.
