Arthur J. Millet, 86, was born Sept. 30, 1933, and passed away Jan. 15, 2020. He was a native of Garyville, La., and a resident of Destrehan.
He is survived by his child: Ann Marie Millet and spouse James Saylor Sr.; his sister, Lavonne Brady; and grandfather to: Skylynn Dunlap, Semaj Saylor, Jayden Cohen, James Saylor Jr. and Jase Saylor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Nicholas Millet; parents Leonce Millet and Emeline Duhe Millet; brothers: J.C., Robert and Leonce “Pick” Millet; and sisters: Florence Porta, Louise Lemoine, Doris Louque, Farrel Ann Stockton, Helen Brady, Eunice Melancon and Audrey St. Pierre. He also is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives, and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan on Wednesday (Jan. 22) at noon. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
