Alaina Zeringue Arnold

Alaina Zeringue Arnold, 50, died at 4:24 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, after a seven-year, hard-fought battle with cancer.

She was the beloved wife of Thomas F. Arnold; mother of Donald and Daniel Arnold; daughter of Barbara B. Zeringue; sister of Karen Saucier (Stanward), Michael Zeringue (Dianna), Brian Zeringue (JoAnn), Kirk Zeringue (Sandra) and Jeffrey Zeringue (Mary Kay); aunt of Jared Oubre and Leah Arellano, Heath Zeringue, Michael Zeringue Jr., Holly Zeringue, Jaime Zeringue, Alicia Zeringue, Ryan Zeringue, Ross Zeringue, Charles Zeringue and Kathryn Zeringue; and Preston Zeringue, Jacob Zeringue, Amelie Oubre, Talan Oubre, Landon Oubre, Teagan Zeringue, Ethan Arellano and Evan Arellano.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Zeringue Jr.; and great-nephew Elliott Ryan Zeringue.

A native of Luling and resident Des Allemands, Alaina was an inspiration to all for her strength in battling her sickness, without complaint and always had a smile for everyone.
