Andrew “Drew” Stolsek

Andrew “Drew” Stolsek, 56, of Luling, Louisiana, passed away on October 7, 2025, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer.

Born on February 15, 1969, in St. Louis, Missouri, Drew was the beloved son of Patricia “Mitch” Young and her husband, Milo, and of Fred Stolsek and his wife, Bev. He is also survived by his daughter, Brianna Wilson, and her fiancé, Arthur De Barros, as well as several stepbrothers, a stepsister, and many cherished friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

Drew dedicated much of his career to Entergy’s Waterford 3 Nuclear Station, where he worked with pride and professionalism as a Senior Radiation Protection Technician. He retired in May 2025 after decades of committed service earning him the respect and friendship of colleagues.

From a young age, Drew lived life in the fast lane – literally. He had an enduring passion for speed and his motorcycles, cars, trucks, and boat were always meticulously maintained and fine-tuned for performance. His attention to detail and enthusiasm for all things mechanical reflected both his skills and spirit.

Drew will be remembered as a devoted son, a proud father, and a loyal friend. His humor, generosity, and love of life touched everyone who knew him.

The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to the compassionate staff at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, for their exceptional care and support throughout Drew’s journey.

A celebration of life will be held at noon on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at The Father’s House, 16796 US-90, Des Allemands, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Drew’s memory.
