Woman knocked out for waking up man

Two Des Allemands brothers were arrested after one of the brothers responded to getting hit with a wooden table leg by striking the other brother with a metal work light, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

A 31-year-old woman was also struck with a table leg, knocking her unconscious.

When deputies arrived at the scene, 29-year-old Timothy Lee told them that his younger brother, 17-year-old Justin Lee, became angry with his girlfriend because she was being loud while he was trying to sleep.

Justin allegedly grabbed a wooden table leg, struck Timothy with it, before hitting Jada Gueho in the head and knocking her unconscious.

However, Justin told deputies that it was his brother Timothy that first responded with violence. Justin said that he got into an argument with Timothy and Gueho and Timothy grabbed a metal light and hit him in the arm. Justin said that he then ran to the bedroom to escape his brother.
Gueho did not remember much about the incident except that Justin became extremely angry and hit her in the head with a large wooden object. She elected not to press charges against Justin.

Justin and Timothy’s father, Dovice Lee, told deputies that Justin didn’t just try to attack Timothy and Gueho, but swung the table leg at everyone in the residence. In fact, Dovice said that Justin swung the leg at him three times before hitting Timothy and Gueho.

However, once Dovice realized that Justin was being arrested, he changed his story and said that Justin did not grab a table leg but was instead sleeping, according to the deputy on the scene.

Deputies observed that Gueho seemed “dazed and confused” and had a large lump on the top right portion of her head. She was then transferred to St. Anne’s Hospital in Raceland.
Timothy and Justin also both had injuries. Timothy had a minor abrasion to his knee. Justin had a severely swollen left arm and the little toe on his left foot was missing its toe nail and bleeding profusely.
