A 33-year-old St. Rose woman was arrested after authorities say she showed up to a co-workers home with a group of people and began attacking the woman both inside and outside of her residence.
Penny White, of 613 Turtlecreek Lane, was booked with aggravated burglary.
According to Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Dwayne LaGrange, White and the 38-year-old victim worked together and had gotten into an argument while at the business.
“White accused the victim of something and then showed up at her house,” LaGrange said. “When the victim opened the door, White began hitting her in the face and head. When the victim tried to get back into her house, White followed her and kept attacking her.”
The group of people that went with White to the victim’s house never got involved in the fight, though LaGrange said they were verbally abusive to the victim.
“After the attack, the woman had bruises on her neck, face and the top of her head,” LaGrange said. “She also had a bloody nose.”
The victim was treated on the scene by paramedics. White was arrested and booked.
