Want to see St. Charles Parish in NCIS: New Orleans?

Local scenes were filmed in two episodes – Episode 609 “Convicted” and Episode 610 “Requital” at Homeplace Plantation, also known as the Keller Homestead, in Hahnville, said Katie Barker, vice president of CBS Entertainment Communications.

The first of these two episodes, “Requital,” will air Tuesday (Dec. 17) on CBS. Episode 609 will be announced.

“Although the show is based in New Orleans, we love to show many of the wonderful locations the surrounding regions have to offer,” according to the location manager. “This is one of the small ways we can show support of our local communities and show the beauty and diversity of South Louisiana. Thank you, Hahnville and St. Charles Parish for welcoming us to your community.  It is truly a pleasure to work there.”

Barker said preparations began in early October for local filming and concluded on Nov. 5.

NCIS: New Orleans averages 18.63 million viewers.

Barker said they’ve been filming in the greater New Orleans area for six seasons now and will continue filming this season through Spring of 2020.

She also thanked parish officials, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lafon Performing Arts Center, Holy Rosary Church, and many private companies and individuals who helped support them along the way.
