All are felony charges. Salazar was initially arrested on the charges of child pornography possession, while the others were added on June 30 and July 1.

Salazar’s arrest came as result of a joint investigation between the state’s Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations and the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, according to Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry.

Landry is asking the public for additional information on what he says is an ongoing investigation. Anyone with additional information on the subject is asked to call the attorney general’s cyber crime unit at 1 (800) 256-4506. Callers may remain anonymous.

Salazar was booked into Nelson Coleman Correctional Center following his arrest. His bond has been set at $200,000.
