St. Charles Printing is a one-stop shop for building image

At St. Charles Printing and Fastsigns of St. Charles, the diverse array of services offered to customers in a one-stop setting is a true rarity.

“We’re probably the most diverse printing and sign company in the metro area as far as everything under one roof,” said Kevin Hebert, president at St. Charles Printing/Fastsigns. “We do everything from electrical signage to wrapping cars to graphics on your windows, interior walls or simply decals and bumper stickers. Business cards, full color brochures … we do a little bit of everything, that’s for sure.”

St. Charles Printing has been a staple of the parish for more than 22 years. Hebert said the company’s co-branding with the Fastsigns franchise allows a way to more accurately convey to customers the wide range of services offered — it doesn’t begin and end with printing.

Many companies enlist Fastsigns/St. Charles Printing to help them make one of the biggest first impressions possible — creating the sign in front of their store, the first thing all who visit or pass by their business will see.

“In a lot of ways, a sign is a representation of who you are as a company,” Hebert said. “If you have a nice, pleasing lighted sign or well-lit sign, it says a lot about the type of company you are. To get people out to your business is the bottom line, and that impression can certainly be the difference.”

Many of the company’s signage projects focus on interior elements, such as safety and directional signage at an industrial site or one of the company’s most notable recent projects, creating signs and graphics for the inside of Tulane University’s Wilson Athletics Center.

“It’s a lot of different things, some dimensional, some fabric, some industrial and a lot of hospitality work,” Hebert said. “We’ve worked with many hotels in New Orleans, about 80 percent of the hotels in the city. That’s a big part of what we do.”

They also offer marketing services and consultation to business owners and entrepreneurs.

“We can help you market to your customers through direct mail,” Hebert said. “It’s part of what we do, from designing projects to sitting down to figure out the target audience that you want to advertise to, and figuring out the best way to reach them.”

In January of this year Kevin and Debbie Hebert of St. Charles Printing expanded their business to include a location in Baton Rouge on Essen Lane and just this month opened a third location in Gonzales on S. Burnside Ave.Kevin and Debbie have been presented with CPrint International’s highest award in print shop management. The company was awarded the honor after achieving high standards of operational performance as measured by financial strength, profitability, and growth from 2006-2012.
