SCPPS releasing early March 22 due to severe weather forecast

Due to forecasted severe weather during dismissal times, St. Charles Parish Public Schools will release early tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22, 2022.

Other items to note:

-All after school and district activities and events are cancelled for March 22.

-After school care is cancelled. Before school care will be open in the morning on March 22.

-Once all students have been dismissed from the school site, school personnel will be allowed to leave work. All other non-school based personnel working at non-school locations will be released at 1:45 p.m. The School Board Office will close at 1:45 p.m.

Destrehan High and Hahnville High will release at 11:15 a.m. Cammon Middle, Hurst Middle, R.K. Smith Middle, J.B. Martin Middle, Schoeffner Elementary, and Luling Elementary will release at 11:55 a.m.

Allemands Elementary, Lakewood Elementary, Mimosa Park Elementary, New Sarpy Elementary, Norco Elementary, R.J. Vial Elementary, and St. Rose Elementary will release at 12:45 p.m., as will Carver Early Learning Center and Eastbank Head Start.
