A woman last seen in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 18, 2017, was arrested this month in St. Charles Parish.
Bobbie Sue Marx, 38, was arrested on April 8 by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and charged with criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia, disturbing the peace, taking contraband into a penal institution, resisting an office, possession of methamphetamine and simple escape.
Her address on record is 262 Jacobs Lane in Paducah, KY.
Sheriff Greg Champagne reported via a release that Marx was arrested after she allegedly entered the open bed/cargo area of a pickup truck without permission of the owner.
“Deputies arrived and were provided with a false name by Marx,” Champagne stated. “Marx appeared extremely intoxicated and was taken to a local area hospital for evaluation. Upon being released from the hospital, Marx attempted to escape from deputies by fleeing on foot but was quickly apprehended.”
Upon apprehension, Marx was transported to Nelson Coleman Correctional Center for booking, where Champagne said she was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. She remains in custody.
According to the Charley Project – a website that profiles missing people – Marx was last seen in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 18, 2017.
“She drove her car to a business looking for someone who didn’t work there,” the website states. “She became upset and was acting very oddly and someone called the police, but Marx left before the police arrived on scene. She has never been heard from again.”
