St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office asking for help in identifying suspects at Splash Park

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying three males who apparently damaged and removed a security camera on April 22 at Splash Park in Destrehan.

At about 8:52 p.m., the three male subjects arrived at the park at 1901 Ormond Boulevard.

Two of them walked to the pavilion area and pulled a picnic table from the center of the pavilion to a spot directly under one of the security cameras.

After some effort, they removed the camera, walked away from the area and threw it in a nearby canal, which was later recovered during a canvass by patrol deputies.

Video surveillance of the incident was obtained and the picture below is of one of the suspects involved in damaging the camera who we are trying to identify. If anyone is able to identify the suspect in the video, they are asked to contact Detective Ronnie Newman at (985) 783-1223 or (985) 783-6807.
