The 34th St. Charles Parish Peace Officers Memorial Service took place on Tuesday, where a strong turnout of people honored Louisiana police officers killed in 2015, as well as the four St. Charles Parish police officers who have been killed in the line of duty.

Brashier is the grandchild of Syl Chauvin, who works for the Sheriff’s Office and is the widow of former St. Charles Deputy Allen Arterbury.
