Sheriff’s Office seeking suspects in Luling attempted burglary

Two men are being sought in connection with the attempted burglary of a Luling residence.

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office reported to a burglary report around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 1) at 404 Perryl Lane.

A black male clad in a red shirt, possibly a hoodie, was trying to climb through an open window to the residence, said Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes.

“The resident was home and screamed at the subject, at which time the subject fled,” Yoes said. “The victim observed the subject, accompanied by a second subject, enter a silver colored 2000’s model Acura TL 4door vehicle and leave.”A surveillance camera provided a photo of the vehicle believed to have been at the scene.
