Sheriff’s Office seeking suspect who slashed 3 police car tires

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a suspect believed to have slashed tires of three police cars.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. this morning (Aug. 26) three patrol units had their tires slashed at the Dot’s Diner in Luling by an unknown white male.

A witness told authorities a man in a vehicle parked in the Dot’s/Hotel parking lot, exited the vehicle and approached the units.

He witnessed the man puncture the tires and flee the area on a mountain bike style bicycle with a front basket attached, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6’0″, slim build, brown Mohawk style hair, wearing blue shirt and gray shorts.
