Sheriff’s Office searching for suspects involved in Walmart fraud, theft

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is searching for four suspects who allegedly used an altered or fraudulent bank card to make several purchases at the Boutte Walmart Monday (April 2).

According to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes, three males and one female entered the Boutte Walmart and made several purchases, using the altered/fraudulent bank card to draft from an account they were unauthorized to access.

The two males are shown on surveillance video entering the store first. They made transactions then exited walking towards a red mini-van, possibly a Toyota Sienna, according to police. Afterwards a male and female entered the store and made additional transactions and upon exiting were picked up by the first two subjects in the red mini-van.

Pictured is a segment of the video surveillance footage of the suspects and their vehicle.  The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information as to the identities of any of these subjects to contact Detective Thomas Plaisance at (985) 783-1135 or (985)-783-6807.
