Sheriff Greg Champagne is asking for public assistance in locating Melvin Greely Jr.
Greely was last seen at his residence on July 29.
He left his residence in a blue Nissan Versa with Louisiana license plate 333 AZO.
Greely was believed to be going to the New Orleans Lakefront, but was not heard from by his family again, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Greely is a 55-year-old black male, approximately 6’1” tall, 215 lbs. He was last seen wearing a burgundy polo shirt, blue jeans, and white tennis shoes.
