Residents in St. Charles Parish had ample opportunity to enjoy the unusually warm winter weather last weekend.
Hahnville High School hosted several girls’ soccer teams throughout the weekend and our own Lady Tigers came in second place at the 14th annual Battle on the Bayou.
Hahnville won their first four games in the tournament before falling to Bay High, from Mississippi, in the championship.
Aside from the soccer tournament, the weekend also ushered in Christmas for St. Charles. Thousands made their way to Norco for the Christmas parade, while creative boaters put on a show for folks in Bayou Gauche at the annual boat parade.
