Each year the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office receives grants to fund parish-wide events such as Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over and Click it or Ticket.
These grants, funded by the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission, help to educate drivers and in turn effectively reduce the number of accident-related injuries.
“We are honored to participate in the additional traffic safety enforcement activities throughout the year, and strongly feel that with each campaign we are helping make the citizens of St. Charles Parish that much safer,” St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. James Grimaldi said.
