Regina Allemand goes ‘above and beyond’ in real estate

Selling or buying a home can be trying, but Gardner Realtor agent Regina Allemand’s devotion to going “above and beyond” to make it an enjoyable experience has left a lasting impression on the many people she has helped.

“My motto is that I’m a Realtor who cares,” Allemand said. “My philosophy is that you take care of people and the money will take care of itself.”

And many of those people weren’t shy about expressing their gratitude.

“Regina is a pleasure to work with and a true professional,” Murad Ahmed said of Allemand’s assistance. “We were nervous about buying our first home, but her patience and knowledge was there every step of the way to help us find the right home.”

Customer Trey Berthelot said Allemand went above and beyond in helping him buy his home.

“She did a phenomenal job,” Berthelot said of her assistance in his purchase.

Ben and Christi Ardoin say Allemand was “very professional” and provided “great communication.”

Having sold their house in 2-1/2 weeks, the couple was pleased to acknowledge her knowledge of the area and market.

“We could not be happier with the service she provided and the coaching she gave as we went through this process,” say the Ardoins. “You made a stressful time in our life much, much easier.”

Barbara Doucet also praised Allemand, saying she is committed to her career and the people she serves.

“Her friendly, caring nature and concern for others make her a true professional in all her actions,” Doucet said. “She gives tirelessly to her company and the community and works with her clients to meet their needs and desires.”

With more than 26 years of experience, Allemand specializes in listings in the River Parishes and says her goals with each client are to meet their needs and ensure that their wants and concerns are each properly addressed.

Her approach is centered on taking her clients’ best interests at heart.

“You can’t push someone into anything and expect satisfaction,” she said. “These are transactions that take significant investment and my aim is to make sure each and every person I work with is ultimately comfortable and confident in their decision.”

Before becoming a real estate agent, Allemand worked in retail and was inspired to go into real estate by an agent who left a lasting impression on her as to how to work with people.

By 1991, she had her real estate license and worked at Gardner Realtors the entire time. It’s a loyalty set in stone between the two, particularly with the company’s family-oriented style that lured her there.

Allemand’s office is located at 13371 Highway 90, Suite B in Boutte. She can be reached at (504) 495-2452.

A native of Luling, not only does Allemand make her home and career in the area, she takes a great deal of pride in having the chance to show the region off.

“I’m very happy to be able to do that,” she said. “And this is a community that’s always growing. Everything you need or want is here or no more than 20 minutes from here. If someone is from here, they don’t choose to leave, or if they do leave they usually find their way back here. People take up roots quickly here.”

Allemand’s roots are here, too.

While she doesn’t work for praise, it’s always nice to hear customers affirming her efforts to care for them. And it’s always welcome to hear them say, “I’d be happy to recommend Regina to anyone.”
