Police seeking men suspected of robbing, beating victims in Destrehan

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating three New Sarpy men believed to have been involved in a robbery in Destrehan.

In an incident that occurred Thursday near Plantation Road, three suspects, Tyran Joseph, 22, Damani Wells, 22 and Antonio Payne, 20, approached a group of four people and implied that they were armed, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office. The three suspects then took cellphones and a wallet from the victims before battering them and fleeing the area on foot.

Payne is approximately 6’0 tall and 175 lbs. Joseph is approximately 5’9 and 160 lbs. and Wells is approximately 5’10 and 160 lbs. Payne’s last known address is 229 Clement St. in New Sarpy. Joseph’s last known address was 235 Annex St. in New Sarpy. Wells’ last known address was 414 E. S. Johnson St.
