Police seek suspects in Bent’s RV robbery

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is using CrimeStoppers to aid detectives investigating a burglary that occurred Sept. 23 at Bent RV on Boutte along U.S. Highway 90.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, it was discovered that two unknown suspects had cut two holes into the floor of the office trailer of the business.

One of the holes was large and directly underneath a security safe, which was taken.

The safe was later located along the eastern fence line of the business and had been forced open. It was determined by police that cash, credit card receipts and a gift card was stolen from the safe.

After reviewing video surveillance, police determined two suspects committed the burglary at about 1:30 that morning. Both of them were wearing hoods, long sleeves, gloves and something covering their faces.

Those who provide information will be eligible for a reward and do not have to submit their name.
