Police searching for suspected St. Rose armed burglar

Police are searching for 25-year-old Tyler Daigle of Harahan, who is suspected to be responsible for an aggravated burglary in St. Rose on Feb. 17.

The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate and arrest Daigle, who was identified by the victim of the crime as an armed intruder who was accompanied by an unknown black male. According to the victim, Daigle entered the victim’s residence armed with pistols and demanded money. The two suspects then entered a silver colored sedan possibly driven by a person by the name of Alicia and fled the scene.

Daigle is a white male, approximately 5’8” and 140 lbs, with blue eyes and a thin build. His last known addresses were on Hickory Avenue in Harahan and Ames Boulevard in Marrero.

Alicia was described as a white female.

The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with any information in relation to the incident, who may know the identity of Alicia, or who has information as to the whereabouts of Daigle to contact Detective Thomas Plaisance at (985)783-1135 or to contact (985)783-6807.

Citizens can also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-877-903-STOP. Citizens do not have to give their name or testify and could receive up to $2,500.
