A woman shopping at Winn-Dixie in Destrehan told police that a man parked behind her and began making lewd and obscene comments.
When she threatened to call the authorities, the man drove off.
The incident took place last Thursday when the woman was getting out of her car in the Winn-Dixie parking lot. After exiting the vehicle, she saw that a man was parked behind her in a large truck. The woman told police that the man made lewd and obscene comments and gestures to her before she threatened to call 911.
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in tracking down the man in question. He was described as a white male in his early 60s with a dark complexion, stocky build and short gray, straight hair.
He was wearing a light colored T-shirt and sunglasses.
His vehicle was described as a large two-toned pickup truck, possibly an F-250, with tan over light blue or gray.
Anyone with any information concerning this incident or this person is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office by calling 911.
