The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for information to help identify a woman whose body was found around 7 a.m. today (May 4) near the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway in Norco.
Canadian National Railroad crews working in the area reported the body in Lake Pontchartrain just west of the entrance canal to the lower section in the Bonnet Carre’ Spillway.
Detectives located the body of a female in advanced decomposition, according to the Sheriff’s Office. She was wearing a red-and-white plaid button-down shirt, a white undershirt and a blue sports bra.This incident is under investigation.
