Norco woman accused of Domino’s theft

Former manager charged with taking $9K

A Norco woman and Domino’s Pizza manager was recently arrested for allegedly stealing more than $9,000 from the business.

Julie Walters, 39, of 324 Apple St. in Norco, is suspected of stealing over $9,400 over a span of nearly two years, ranging from April 20, 2016 to Jan. 10, 2018.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, an audit by Domino’s representatives revealed delivery drivers at specific store locations were reported as logging above average mileage. The internal investigation revealed that on numerous occasions, a mileage total would be entered before being amended later to allow for a second withdrawl from the cash register.

St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office spokesman Cpl. James Grimaldi said the investigation is still ongoing and additional arrests are expected.
