New Sarpy man who allegedly took son is in custody
A New Sarpy man sought in connection with allegedly taking his son in March from his mother’s residence in Texas has been arrested by the U.S. Marshals.
Samuel Lane, 41, of 247 Terrace St., was wanted on a charge of interference with child custody. Lane was apprehended and the juvenile located in Harvey on Thursday (April 14).
The St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office was asking for information to locate Lane after he picked up his 15-year-old son during spring break from his mother’s residence in Killeen, Texas. Lane did not return the child by March 19 as required.
