Missing 92-year-old found in woods

A 92-year-old St. Rose man who went missing from his home on Sept. 15 has been located alive and well.

Alfred Davis, who resides on Turtlecreek Lane in St. Rose, was last seen at his home at 1 a.m. on Sept. 15.

Davis, who walks with the assistance of a walker and has started to show early signs of Alzheimer’s disease, had fallen in woods near his home, according to Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Capt. Pat Yoes.

Neighbors heard him calling for help that night and he was rescued.

“He’s exhausted, but he’s fine,” Yoes said.
