Krewe of Lul officials have cancelled the Luling parade, which was set to begin at noon on Saturday.
The parade was cancelled because of thunderstorms that are scheduled to roll through town tomorrow. According to officials, the parade will not be rescheduled.
This is the second year in a row that the parade has been cancelled. Before last year’s cancellation, the parade had rolled through Luling for 33 straight years.
