Named the Best Weekly Newspaper in Louisiana in 2006 for our coverage of hurricanes Katrina and Rita and their afternath, the St. Charles Herald-Guide has won several top awards in 2007.
In this year’s contest, we won awards for Best Editorial, Best Photo Feature, Best News Package, Best Advertising – and Best Graphic Design.
And that’s just the “best of” category. Our staff also won a slew of additional awards – not bad when you consider the competition: broadsheet and tabloid newspapers that produce thousands of top-notch stories, photos, advertisements and special editions week in and week out … from one end of the state to the other.
